Chatrodamus doesn’t want a race committee. He wants an Accountability Committee that drags bad policies, bad politicians, and bad narratives into the light. This is Case File #1 in the HUAC 2.0 series.
Most folks under 60 hear “HUAC” and think it’s some dusty Cold War trivia question. The original House Un-American Activities Committee was a panel of the U.S. House from 1938 to 1975 that hauled people in front of Congress to grill them about real or alleged subversion.
I’m not trying to resurrect loyalty oaths and Hollywood blacklists.
What I’m resurrecting is the core idea that Congress should have a standing committee whose job is to expose people and policies that are actively undermining the country—right now, in real time.
That’s what I’m calling House Un-American Activities Committee 2.0 (HUAC 2.0).
Everybody keeps saying, “HUAC is dead, Sarge. The House Un-American Activities Committee is ancient history.”
Fine. The old name can stay in the museum.
But the idea that Congress should haul people in, put them under the lights, and make them answer for wrecking the country? That’s not dead at all.
We are calling for a modern version of HUAC that targets something very specific:
People and policies that actively sabotage public safety, equal justice, and basic order.
Not a race committee.
Not a religion committee.
An American Integrity Committee that goes after:
- Officials who protect violent offenders instead of citizens
- Politicians who hide behind identity while their cities burn
- Media figures who gaslight the public about what’s really happening

Case File #1: Policies That Turn Cities Into Crime Labs
You don’t need a briefing from Langley to see it. A handful of disastrous “reforms” have turned whole neighborhoods—Black, white, and everything in between—into test ranges for social experiments.
If HUAC 2.0 opened its first folder, it would start here.
1. Catch & Release “Justice”
No-bail policies and revolving-door courts mean repeat violent offenders are back on the street before the ink is dry on the paperwork. Cops risk their lives to make arrests; the system shrugs and sends the same faces back out to prey on the same neighborhoods.
Un-American activity: treating law-abiding residents as disposable lab rats in a political experiment.
2. Decriminalize First, Pretend to Be Shocked Later
When prosecutors announce they won’t pursue “minor” theft, drug possession, or “non-violent” offenses, they may win applause on Twitter—but in the real world, smash-and-grab mobs, open-air drug markets, and shoplifting waves follow like sunrise after sunrise.
Un-American activity: abandoning the basic promise that if you steal or threaten others, the law will come for you.
3. Defund, Demoralize, and Then Blame the Cops
Slash police budgets. Call rank-and-file officers racists for years. Tie their hands with politics. Then act shocked when response times spike and recruitment crashes. That’s not reform—that’s sabotage.
Hello New York City. Lots of luck with your new commie mayor Zohran Mamdani. You bought into Mamdani’s socialist act and fake promises he will never deliver on, elected this idiot mayor of one of our greatest cities and now get ready to face the biggest increase in crime the city has ever seen. He has said he will take a billion dollars away from the police budget and the criminals out there are licking their chops! I equate visiting NYC now with going to some of the worst, un-safest places to go in third world countries, and you do so at risk of your life.
To all of the morons who participated in the “No Kings” BS, congrats, you now have a real king, a socialist loser named Zohran Mamdami, who is now the newly elected mayor and “king” of New York City. When Kings overpromise and underdeliver you can’t just fire them. They will only shift the blame to others who oppose their bad ideas and promise even more.
Un-American activity: destroying the morale of the people you expect to run toward gunfire when everything goes sideways.
These aren’t accidents. They’re choices. HUAC 2.0 would drag the authors of these policies into the hearing room and make them walk through every consequence—victim by victim, neighborhood by neighborhood.
Case File #2: The Ideologues in the Hot Seat
Policies don’t write themselves. People do.
This is where HUAC 2.0 stops pretending “the system” is some vague cloud and starts naming the human beings who use power and cameras to push this stuff.
Below is a rogues’ gallery of some of the loudest left-wing voices—not because of who they are, but because of what they do.
Letitia James
New York Attorney General Letitia James practically ran on “Get Trump,” turning an office meant for neutral law enforcement into a partisan battering ram. Her message is clear: if you’re the political enemy of the moment, the state will find a law to club you with—while everyday New Yorkers drown in crime and chaos her priorities leave untouched.
Jasmine Crockett
Rep. Jasmine Crockett is best known for viral committee brawls and turning every disagreement into an accusation of racism or extremism. She plays to the cameras like it’s an audition reel, but you’d be hard-pressed to point to serious work on crime, border security, or economic stability for the people she claims to defend.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC)
AOC’s brand is Instagram socialism and Green New Deal fantasy math. She flirted with “defund the police,” then tried to memory-hole it when voters got nervous. Her energy agenda would kneecap American workers and make us more dependent on hostile regimes—all while lecturing the middle class from the back seat of an Uber.
Maxine Waters
Maxine Waters told her supporters to confront Trump officials in public, then turned around and pretended to be the guardian of “our democracy.” In every crisis, she can be counted on to blame Republicans, “systemic racism,” and anyone else handy—while the communities she represents remain trapped in the same failed big-government loop.
Hakeem Jeffries
House Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries is the polished version of the same script: Republicans are threats to democracy, border concerns are overblown, and soft-on-crime policies are “reforms.” He spent years flirting with 2016 election denial, then decided questioning elections was only a sin when the other side did it.
Joy Reid
MSNBC host Joy Reid can turn any story into a sermon on race, even when it has almost nothing to do with it. She smears conservatives as bigots on autopilot, rarely corrects misleading narratives, and somehow survived her own ugly old blog posts—something that would have ended a right-leaning host’s career in 24 hours.
Sunny Hostin
On The View, Sunny Hostin plays the prosecutor for The Narrative. Democrats are the moral default; Republicans are racists, fascists, or religious lunatics. It’s not analysis—it’s catechism for viewers who want to hear that half the country is irredeemable and dangerous for disagreeing.
Whoopi Goldberg
Whoopi Goldberg bounces between moral lecturing and historical faceplants, like calling the Holocaust “white-on-white violence.” She’s quick to sneer at traditional values and religious conservatives while giving endless mulligans to left-wing causes—no matter how badly they backfire in the real world.
Bernie Sanders
Bernie Sanders is the grandfather of American socialism, still romantic about government running everything from your doctor to your wallet. He shrugs off the failures of regimes he once excused and insists his plan will work here—funded by fantasy tax math that collapses the second you leave a college auditorium.
Ilhan Omar
Ilhan Omar built a national profile by bashing America and Israel while soft-pedaling threats from our real enemies. From “some people did something” about 9/11 to “It’s all about the Benjamins” about Israel, she’s repeatedly danced at the edge of rhetoric that would end most political careers. Identity politics has become her shield.
Stacey Abrams
Stacey Abrams turned 2018 into a never-ending campaign by insisting she was the “real” governor of Georgia. She mainstreamed election denial before it was cool to pretend that only Republicans did that, built a fundraising empire on claims of suppression, and kept the narrative going even when turnout numbers poked holes straight through it.
Cory Booker
Cory Booker specializes in theatrical outrage—remember his self-declared “Spartacus moment” during the Kavanaugh hearings—while backing the same soft-on-crime, big-government policies that failed in his own backyard. He’s always ready to cry on camera about justice but never seems willing to admit when his “compassion” makes streets more dangerous.
Pete Buttigieg
As Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg looked more like a talk-show regular than the guy responsible for supply chains, grounded flights, and train derailments. While Americans dealt with empty shelves and infrastructure failures, he served up vague equity slogans instead of demonstrating he can actually manage a national system.
Julián Castro
Former HUD Secretary Julián Castro turned his 2020 campaign into a contest for who could be softest on borders and harshest on Trump donors. He even helped publicize donor lists to shame private citizens for their political giving, normalizing the idea that disagreement should come with public targeting and harassment.
Kamala Harris
Kamala Harris was put “in charge” of the border crisis and then treated it like a scheduling conflict. She talked about “root causes” while crossings exploded. Before that, she promoted a bail fund for 2020 rioters and tried to reinvent herself from tough prosecutor to criminal-justice reformer the moment the party line flipped.
Jay Inslee
Washington Governor Jay Inslee uses climate as a universal permission slip to expand government power and squeeze energy choices, especially in rural areas. During the 2020 Seattle CHAZ/CHOP fiasco, he initially acted clueless, then downplayed a lawless occupation as protest culture while businesses and residents were left to fend for themselves.
Beto O’Rourke
Beto O’Rourke is the permanent candidate whose greatest hits include, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15.” He turned the Uvalde tragedy into a press-conference stunt and built his brand on the most aggressive gun-control agenda in the field—casting millions of law-abiding gun owners as the problem while criminals ignore every new rule.
These aren’t random names. They’re nodes in the network:
- They champion policies that hollow out law and order.
- They frame every pushback as hate, racism, or “fascism.”
- They keep voters angry, divided, and misinformed enough to tolerate the damage.
HUAC 2.0 would put them under oath and ask the simple questions they never get on friendly TV:
“Did your policies make people safer or less safe?
Who benefits from the chaos you keep excusing?
When will you own the wreckage you helped create?”
What HUAC 2.0 Should Actually Be Doing
A modern “House Un-American Activities Committee” shouldn’t be about ideology tests or racial witch hunts.
It should be a Committee on American Integrity with a clear mission:
1. Expose Destructive Policies
- No-bail laws that free predators again and again
- Non-prosecution policies that turned downtowns into looting zones
- Welfare, regulatory, and education systems that lock families into dependency
Put the authors of these policies in the chair and demand receipts.
2. Grill the Officials Who Own the Outcomes
- District Attorneys, Attorneys General, mayors, cabinet secretaries
- Bureaucrats who hide behind “guidelines” while citizens pay the price
No more hiding behind staffers and press conferences. HUAC 2.0 would make them explain—in plain English—why they keep doing what obviously doesn’t work.
3. Drag Media Spin Into the Light

Subpoena documents, emails, and editorial guidelines that turn riots into “mostly peaceful protests” and bury stories that don’t fit The Narrative. Make the narrative engineers explain why certain victims get forgotten and certain offenders get endless sympathy.
4. Put the Numbers on the Record

Crime rates by city and policy. Repeat offender data. Economic damage. Victim demographics. No more vague excuses—just hard numbers and hard questions.
You want to talk about “un-American activities”?
- Turning neighborhoods into war zones in the name of “equity.”
- Abandoning victims to protect a political story.
- Treating power as a shield from accountability instead of a responsibility.
That’s the stuff Chatrodamus wants under the hot lights.
HUAC 2.0 isn’t about hunting thoughts.
It’s about hunting the people and policies that are tearing the country apart—and making them answer for it.
