Tools help. They don’t study for you. Blaming a chatbot for a bad score is like blaming a calculator for flunking algebra.
Kim Kardashian A reality star calls AI tool a ‘frenemy’ after repeated incorrect legal advice. (her opinion) “They’re always wrong,” she said. “It has made me fail tests all the time. And then I’ll get mad and I’ll yell at it and be like, ‘You made me fail! Why did you do this?’ And it will talk back to me.“
Excuse me but she failed the bar many times before AI came along.
Celebrity-grade excuse-making just hit a new high (or low): “It was ChatGPT’s fault.” No, it wasn’t. AI can draft, outline, and quiz—but it can’t build discipline, spot issues under pressure, or pass your ethics exam. That’s on the human.
Scapegoating ChatGPT is the new ‘dog ate my homework.’
The Drill
- AI can: generate practice hypos, explain black-letter law, summarize cases, and critique your outlines.
- AI can’t: memorize for you, sit the exam, handle timing, or replace judgment.
- If you can’t spot hallucinations: you’re not ready to rely on AI outputs—period, much less add to the multitudes of ambulance chasing lawyers.
Use AI the Right Way
- Create timed hypos, answer without help, then compare to an AI-generated answer.
- Have AI explain rules you miss—then write your own rule statement from scratch.
- Feed your outline in; ask AI to stress-test it with edge-case questions.
Bottom Line
ChatGPT didn’t fail the bar. The plan failed. Convenience isn’t competence, and outsourcing discipline to a chatbot is just a dressed-up way to quit on yourself.
No wonder she can’t pass the bar, even with an AI assistant, she has “low activity” in the brain. We could have told you that without an expensive scan! Areas in which blood flow is reduced have been described as “holes”, “dents” or “dings” on such SPECT scans. In Kim’s case, this reduced blood flow was explained as “low activity” of the brain. Her doctor suggested the frontal lobes of her brain were not working as they should be, due to chronic stress. Stress? From what? She has everything she could ever want, fame for being famous, money, fake boobs that look good with clothes on, you name it. Maybe we should set up a GoFund Me account for the poor thing? Johnny Carson would have had some fun with this one!
