Every empire has its own language of lies. Ours just happens to sound like a press briefing.
When the government steps up to the podium and starts using words like transparency, accountability, and no one is above the law, Chatrodamus hears something else entirely: Incoming bullshit.
Let’s decode the real meaning behind these buzzwords so you know when to raise your shield.
🧾 “Transparency”
What they say:
“We’re committed to full transparency.”
What they mean:
“We’ve buried the truth in a 700-page PDF, posted it at 4:59 PM on a Friday, and redacted everything interesting. Good luck.”
⚖️ “Accountability”
What they say:
“We will hold those responsible fully accountable.”
What they mean:
“A junior aide will resign. Or a governor will not seek re-election. Tim Walz for example, instead of admitting his part in the Somali fraud he announces he will not seek re-election. And we are expected to take this in payment for the billions he helped the Somali pirates steal from Minnesota taxpayers. The actual decision-makers will get promoted — or a book deal.”
🧑⚖️ “No One Is Above the Law”
What they say:
“No one is above the law.”
What they mean:
“Except presidents, senators, CEOs, contractors, billionaires, donors, governors, mayors, attorney generals, and their dogs.”
🔍 “We’re Investigating”
What they say:
“We take this seriously and are launching an internal investigation.”
What they mean:
“This will be swept under the rug as soon as the public stops paying attention.”
🪞 “This Is Not Who We Are”
What they say:
“This is not who we are as a nation.”
What they mean:
“This is exactly who we are. We just got caught this time.”
🧠 Final Prophecy from Chatrodamus:
When they start cleaning the swamp, check if they’re just rearranging the alligators.
