First Colbert, now Kimmel. One down, one to go has officially turned into two down, more to go — late-night “comedy” is collapsing faster than a bad punchline.
The FCC Problem Nobody Wants to Talk About
What Jimmy Kimmel said wasn’t comedy, it wasn’t satire, and it sure as hell wasn’t “in the public interest.” That last phrase matters — because the FCC requires licensed broadcasters to operate in the public interest. Kimmel instead used his platform to spread hostile, inaccurate liberal garbage.
Disney, the Woke Empire, Did This?
What’s surprising is that Disney, of all companies, actually pulled the plug. Disney, the same outfit that usually clutches pearls and waves rainbow flags, decided Kimmel was too much. Maybe they finally noticed that their audience isn’t America either.
Meanwhile, in Emmyville…
Colbert gets an Emmy? For what, exactly? The man was fired and unfunny — so naturally Hollywood gives him a trophy. That’s not an award, that’s a Darwin Award dressed up in a tux. Emmyville is full of morons patting themselves on the back for being “important,” but they’ve confused activism with talent.
Bigger Picture: The Bubble Pops
Here’s the thing: late-night hosts think their audiences are a mirror of America. They’re not. They’re a mirror of themselves — a bubble of liberal clappers laughing at canned jokes. Kimmel and Colbert got used to that echo chamber and started thinking they were bulletproof. That kind of arrogance has “killed” more celebrities than bad scripts ever did.
The Karma Layoff
Now the kicker. People out there are losing jobs for saying the wrong thing online — sometimes applauding violence, sometimes ranting their politics where their boss can see. Companies claim they “won’t tolerate hate speech,” when really they’re covering their butts. Privately, some execs may nod along, but publicly they chop off heads to look holy. Real or staged, the videos of these meltdowns flood YouTube, feeding us a dose of payback karma. We can’t reach out and dish it ourselves, so somebody else does it for us.
The Liberal Culture – There is only one God
Trump’s Beef With Jimmy Kimmel: A Brief History and Bill O’Reilly’s take on why his hatred of Trump consumes him. Extreme ideology is now Kimmel’s mantra, don’t give up your day job Jimmy.
The Chatrodamus Note
Back in July, Chatrodamus called it: one down, one to go. Now it’s two down, more to go. The so-called comedy kings are falling, and the revolution rolls on.
Chatrodamus Predicts:
Next on the chopping block will be The View, that so-called panel show with Behar, Goldberg, Hostin and those other liberal skanks who don’t have the creds to challenge anyone. Just another bunch of unimaginative Trump haters. It’s getting really boring, all their useless yak yak.
