Joe Everyman’s Guide to Playing the .AI Game

AI Watch — Part of the Signals From the Future collection tracking artificial intelligence, automation, digital power, and the unintended consequences of modern technology.

Owning a .AI domain can feel a lot like playing the stock market. You can win big — or lose your shirt. Here’s my take, coming from someone who’s lost thousands with bad investment advice and knows the thrill and the sting.

Here is my disclaimer to show I have nothing to gain by telling you these things. After doing my own research into AI dot com domains I ran into a relatively new player that hasn’t quite caught on with the get- rich-quick- by -doing- what- I- did crowd, that of domain harvesting the dot AI extension with the intention of flipping for profit.

The main take I got from this video was to be successful in snagging a good .AI you should search in the fields of Health, Tech, Relationships, and Investing. If you can find any good ones such as: diets.ai, stockwatch.ai, match.ai or even AI.ai you might have something you can flip or hang on to.

Rule #1 – You’ve got to be a player.
The market — whether stocks or domains — is not for the faint of heart. If you’re afraid to risk money, stay in the bleachers.

Rule #2 – Bet big to win big.
If you go in with $50, don’t expect a life-changing payoff. Big rewards come from big risks — but know the risks before you jump.

Rule #3 – Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
Diversify. If you buy 10 .AI domains, make sure they’re in different niches so one trend crash doesn’t wipe you out.

Rule #4 – Do your homework.
Don’t buy because some broker says it’s a “sure thing.” Look at what’s selling, research comparable sales, and know your target buyers.

Rule #5 – Decide your playstyle.
Are you in for the quick flip (buy and resell fast) or the long hold (wait years for a payday)? Are you aggressive and speculative, or conservative and calculated?

In the end, .AI domains can be an exciting investment — but like the stock market, it rewards those who play smart, stay informed, and don’t panic when things get rough.

Girlfriend.AI scored the big bucks, not far behind was Boyfriend.AI, so maybe the next big winner will be Gay.AI. or Tranny.AI
