You can’t make this stuff up, folks. The Democrats have greenlit a $20 million study—yes, twenty million taxpayer dollars—to figure out how to “connect better with the common man.” Translation: “How do we make the party of billionaires, lobbyists, and college activists look like Joe Six-Pack?”
And what’s the first big idea out of this cultural genius factory? BBQ outreach. Because nothing says “I’m just like you” like a politician in loafers and pleated khakis trying to flip a burger with the same confidence they handle border security.
Let’s revisit Exhibit A: the SchumerBurger Disaster. Remember when Senator Chuck Schumer tweeted his “all-American cookout” photo? Voters can smell PR theater—this is pure PR theater.
- Hamburger bun: ✅
- Raw onion slices: ✅
- Cold tomato: ✅
- The actual burger? Raw hamburger with a slice of cheese on top.
America’s grill masters took one look and said, “This guy’s never even seen a Weber.”

And this is the crew spending $20 million to figure out how to talk to “Joe Everyone.” Here’s a free tip, Democrats: Stop acting like every working-class voter is a sociology experiment and start acting like you’ve been outside in the last 10 years. Once credibility is burned, every policy fight carries a credibility premium.
You don’t need a taxpayer-funded think tank to understand middle America. You need common sense and a spatula that’s touched real meat.
Instead, we’ll get PowerPoints on “How to Look Authentic in a Flannel Shirt” and another campaign where elites pretend to chug beer for votes. Spoiler alert: They’ll choke on it.
Meanwhile, inflation is through the roof, groceries cost a fortune, and the southern border looks like the 405 freeway at rush hour. But hey, let’s throw $20 million on the grill of political theater and call it progress. The same playbook keeps popping up—weaponized storylines and weaponized narratives.
When will they learn? Probably never. But at least the rest of us get to laugh while they burn through your tax dollars like a stack of Kingsford.
Update: Over 15 million spent so far and still no connection to the common man, in fact, things are even worse in the Democratic party. They have decided it’s better to challenge the Federal Government to protect illegal immigrants from ICE arrests.
Chatrodamus Predicts:
Schumer tries a hostile takeover of Burger King but is stopped by the real common man.
