For years, politicians on both sides have played ping-pong with immigration policy. Republicans posture tough, Democrats virtue-signal soft, and nothing changes—except the size of the caravan. Now? Now we decide to slam the door shut after the horse is halfway out of the barn.
The Absurdity of “Now We Mean It”
This isn’t about compassion or cruelty. It’s about incompetence. The same people who ignored the floodgates for decades suddenly woke up and thought, “Oh, wow. Maybe we should do something.”
But here’s the kicker: they never admit fault. They’ll blame the last administration, the next one, and everyone in between. Because Washington has one commandment: Thou shalt never own your failures.
What This Really Means
The U.S. has every right to protect its borders—but not like this. Not after rolling out the welcome mat for years, handing out free benefits, and signaling “Come on in!” Now, with a flick of the pen, the party’s over.
Imagine you’re standing in a buffet line for three hours, and just as you grab a plate, someone yells: “Kitchen’s closed!” That’s immigration policy in a nutshell.
Obama during his term deported over two million illegal immigrants and nobody said a word. Now President Trump, elected partly on his platform to reform the border and get rid of illegal immigrant criminals, has to contend with sanctuary cities defying Federal law, refusing to cooperate with ICE, and seeing his officers attacked and vilified by protestors in Minneapolis. The Democrats want this chaos and will continue to fight against the US Government’s efforts to deport the worst of the worst. This is nothing short of insurrection!
Final Thought
If Democrats cared about borders, they’d have acted decades ago. Instead, they waited until the light bulb went off that each illegal allowed in was a vote for their sick and disturbed party. Chaos became the status quo. And now, their sudden “zero tolerance” stance looks less like law and order—and more like a bald faced lie.
