The Lord is my Caddy; I shall not want.
He grants me good lies on emerald fairways.
He leads me away from the waters and bunkers.
He restores my swing.
He guides me down the cart paths of righteousness,
for His name’s sake.Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of triple bogey,
I will fear no penalty,
for You are with me;
Your driver and Your putter, they comfort me.You prepare a well-conditioned course before me
in the presence of my competitors.
You anoint my head with confidence;
the cups overflow.Surely goodness and mercy—
and the occasional birdie—shall follow me
all the days of my golfing life,
and I shall dwell in the Clubhouse of the Lord
forevermore.
