Trump Lives Rent-Free in Their Heads

The Democrats don’t just dislike Trump. They obsess over him. Every speech, policy, tweet (or Truth) lives rent-free in their heads. This isn’t normal political disagreement. This is pathology. Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) has infected our media, academia, Hollywood, and government.

It’s the same fight everywhere now: control the narrative, control the future. America: Go Slow on AI — Who Should Steer?

And trying to understand why so many people have TDS is like trying to understand how a woman thinks — in other words, nearly impossible. Because here’s the thing: people don’t just hate Trump because of his policies, his looks, his demeanor, his ego, or the fact that he’s MAGA, they just hate him for no reason at all. His achievements, his policies, even his looks could be reasons to disagree, argue, or dislike him — but not to foam at the mouth every time his name comes up.

Chatrodamus thinks it goes deeper than politics. TDS is personal. These people hate him like he did something to them — like he committed some unforgivable offense right in their living room. It’s not “I don’t like his style.” It’s “I want him erased.” That’s not ideology. That’s a sick form of resentment.

And when the “expert class” gets challenged, the outrage isn’t policy-based — it’s personal.

Why the obsession? Because Trump exposed the ruling class as incompetent, corrupt, and wildly out of touch. He shined a flashlight under the D.C. fridge and the cockroaches are still scattering.

Democrats and liberals would rather tank the economy, if Jesus came down and supported Trump they would crucify him again. They let borders disintegrate, protect illegals, create sanctuary cities, put men in women’s sports, and rewrite science than let him near power again. Why? Because he told the truth in a language the people actually understand and he does what he said he would do to get elected. Not polished lies—raw facts and for once, in the swamp, ACTION!

Democrats (and the broader anti-Trump ecosystem) would like you to believe their opposition isn’t “random hate” or just that they can’t get over the fact that they lost the election—they want you to believe they are human, that it’s instead rooted in a pile of clashes that hit policy, power, and culture all at once. They reject his conservative agenda on things like healthcare, immigration enforcement, taxes/regulation, and energy/environment; they view his governing style as norm-breaking and too aggressive toward institutions they see as independent (courts, DOJ, intelligence, press); they despise his combative rhetoric and personal attacks; and many genuinely believe his approach to elections and the administrative state poses a risk to democratic stability. In other words, they just hate everything he does.

That’s why his most prolific haters aren’t just politicians — it’s the entire liberal, far left, megaphone, “expert class” reflex we’ve covered here: Loser Fatigue: Rachel Levine & the Expert Class. that lives downstream of reality, politics, including: legacy media, late-night comedy, Hollywood, campus ideology factories, activist NGOs, paid protesters and the permanent D.C. bureaucracy.

Trump threatens their narrative, their moral authority, and (most of all) their control of the microphone — And once institutions start picking sides, people feel it — the refs aren’t neutral anymore, the scale is tilted, and the obsession gets hotter.
